Exile Corporation is the first of three novels that are in the Exile series.
Based on a true story, Mark McClafferty has taken real life events and expanded upon them to bring you a taste of what life was like while living the life of a playboy millionaire in Los Angeles, California. Loving life and living it large while making tens of thousands of dollars a week, rubbing shoulders with Hollywood's elite in nightclubs, at celebrity parties and attending events.
Having to become a fugitive at large from the FBI for over three years before being captured, Mark will show you what life was like having to do time in Federal prison with some of the USA's hardest convicts.
Mark quickly realized he was in a place where no one wants to go but everyone wants to know about: prison.
This film will answer some of these questions.
Born and raised in England; Mark moved to Los Angeles, California in 1991 at the age of 25 years old. Training to become an Investment Securities Broker, by 1995 he was one of the most sought after telemarketers throughout the USA. Upon the advent of the Internet, Mark joined an organization that then manipulated the burgeoning electronic age, eventually embezzling approximately $117 million by 1999.
Fleeing the U.S. in 2001 he was pursued as a fugitive throughout a number of countries by the F.B.I. Upon being extradited back to the USA in 2004 he was sentenced to serve 4 years and 9 months in Federal prison. Inspired by his true story and people he met while in prison, Mark wrote the book Exile Corporation.
He now lives in Bournemouth, Dorset, England working as a business consultant

The murder of a drug-dealing thug in Hollywood leads to two L.A.P.D. cops uncovering a plot to murder influential world figures. Following the trail of bodies, can they stay alive long enough to stop the worldwide distribution of HEAVEN. And can Mark Knoxx stay alive long enough to stop The Firm?
